Jesus is the heir and murdered son

In the parable of the rented vineyard, I believe that the "servants" represent prophets sent by the Lord to deliver a message (John the Baptist, for one... who was beheaded), and the son and heir, represents Jesus... who was crucified. The Lord will bring judgement on those tenants that aren't able/willing to hear the message and respect the rightful ownership of the land... and He will replace them with other tenants that will share the crop (Revelations).
