Prove yourself just one more time!
This portion of scripture amazes me! Jesus, who had been with them daily in the streets, who had walked among the crowds healing every disease, opening every blinded eye, healing every lame leg, cleansing every bit of leprosy, even raising the dead! In one area, the Bible says that, "Jesus healed them ALL." And now those same people are standing here at the foot of the cross, asking for just one more miraculous sign from Him, "If you are really God, come down from that cross!" Amazing! Did they not remember what He had done while He was walking with?
I think that's they way our world is today - just one more sign and I'll believe. Have they not seen enough to believe yet or is it an excuse to not believe? WOW! Makes you think!
