Praise Him, Praise Him, All You... Everyone

There are so many great passages in Scripture that demand we praise and worship God with reckless abandon. Verses that declare we should give everything we have to God. I am constantly reminding our teens that God asks for a joyful noise, not a pretty noise. To Him, joyful is beautiful, I will often say.
Here in Psalm 150, we see commands to praise using all manner of instrumentation, in all sorts of places, and for many different reasons. The sanctuary, the heavens - all creation is to praise! His power and greatness - do you really need more reason to praise Him?
And as a side note, the instrumentation here (trumpet, lyre, tambourine, strings, flute, cymbals) and the dancing would probably be very close to an out of control ska concert today (or 10 years ago when it was popular). Why do we so often wrap up our praises in a cocoon of organ and piano and solemn expressions on Sunday morning?
Praise Him with everything you have, in every way you can, everywhere you are. Amen.
