Why Keep Pushing On?

This is amazing. It's like God already told us in Jeremiah 29:11 that He knows "the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, but to give you hope and a future." Then He reminds us of this promise and elaborates on it. Our struggles, our trials, our temptations are going to "produce perseverance." Therefore it's a reminder that EVERYTHING that we go through is according to God's Plan. If we "Let perseverance finish its work " we will grow and come out of the trial stronger and better than ever, if we do not faint. And the Lord even promises to help us: "you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." (James 1:5 NIV) But when we ask, we mustn't doubt. Doubting means that we question if God is powerful enough to intervene. "That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord." (James 1:7 NIV) Keep pushing! He has our whole lives written out, and will give us help, motivation and direction, if we seek Him.
