Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works. O- Here faith is not only shown by works, but it needs them in order to survive. The body needs breath. Breath carries elements that are essential for all parta of the body to survive. In the same way, without works our faith suffocates. Doing things builds our faith and allows it to grow. Not doing good works slowly starves it off the nutrients it needs. A- I can't allow good works to slip off my schedule because I am busy. I must always have time to help people. P- Lord, please let me see with your eyes how I can serve those around me.
