I know for myself the thinking of training up a child has an end when I become of age. We never lose the desigination of being children of God. We never know all we need to know. The training never stops because we are always moving to higher levels or always in need of advancing for the sake of others. It's eye opening because I truly believe that I overlook areas to grow.
