Hard times...that's an understatement

Man this guy had the patience of Job. Oh wait…… Seriously, Job was bad. (in a good way) I would have probably had a breakdown after the first mishap. In verse 22 it says that Job did not sin nor did he blame God. Even though he may not have know it, he actually had every logical right to blame God. Not in the sense that God must get an ok from some board before he does something, but in the sense that God purposefully did allow this to happen. He okayed it. I just don’t understand God. He is awesome and super powerful and wants his children to believe this and completely trust Him in the most seemingly horrible of situations. Job did not even have access to the Spirit of God in the way we do in the new covenant, but with his faith, God allowed him to seemingly transcend what we call dispensations and be empowered to stay faithful to God in this mess. As crazy as it sounds, if Job can do it we can to…and even to a greater degree see God truly live through us and display Himself to everyone we come in contact with..despite what we are going through…after all it might be God who purposefully allowed it.
