What I always feared...

This verse strikes me almost the same as a mother who is confronted with a cancer diagnosis for a child. Like something in the back of their mind, that perpetual fear, has just come to fruition. It's disturbing really. To hear Job say "I have no peace, no quietness, I have no rest." It makes me afraid to have fears, to think that they may come true. It's like praying for patience only to have God give you trying times to make you become more patient.
