This generation
I've heard many interpretations of this... but looking for additional clarification/insight here. When Jesus says "this generation", is he referring to those who were alive at the time? That they (and their contemporaries) would physically live to see the fruition of all of Matt. 24 (supposedly the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70)? Or was Jesus referring to this generation as in "the sons of Abraham" (or other) -- some generic term to apply to all humanity? In which case Matt. 24 would be referring more to the "true" end times (rapture, etc.)?
