Pharaoh, a puppet?
It's interesting that we read that Pharaoh after some of the events brought upon Egypt by the Lord, claims to want to admit his sin and repent. Or at least so he says. But in any case, the Lord won't allow it because he hardens Pharaoh's heart each time. The Lord has power over Pharaoh to not allow Moses and his people to leave, so that He can demonstrate His omnipotence. Does God harden the heart of others today? By grace we have been saved; but does He still harden the heart of people so that the magnitude of His grace can be seen by others?
