How much is it?

We shouldn't give God anything that does not cost us anything. Lately I've been working hard for a gift :) for my girlfriend and as I look at my bank account it may not be alot but I know I worked hard for that money. I woke up early, starved at times, even put up w/ a dead beat job just so I can have something for our future. I wonder how much sacrifice am I giving God, am I giving Him something that cost me?
