The Wilderness is plan "A"
That is so amazing to me- that God chose to send the Israelites into the wilderness to protect them from war- wow! Sometimes or destiny is to go through the wilderness- its the safest place for us and there is a purpose for it!
Its also interesting to me that God was reminding them of the future generations from the start- telling them that all they were going through woud be a sign to decendants for many generations. It's easier sometimes to go through something when we know our experience will be useful to someone in the future.
I hope when I am in wilderness times I will be able to see how God is showing Himself strong to me instead of complaining about where i am!
