Walking toward death
It’s amazing to me how Jesus was constantly trying to keep these miracles unnoticed by the public. You would think that He would want anyone and everyone to be drawn to Him because of this. He had great power and influence but never used it to take glory from his Father to appease his flesh. He was dying daily to the little things, taking one step closer to his final destination on this earth….the cross. Lord I thank you for your humility that you have filled me with. I pray that your death would be my aim, that your grace would strengthen me to carry my cross into every situation I encounter that requires it….no matter how small.
