We were meant to be great

I think it’s interesting that Jesus did not rebuke the disciples for desiring greatness. He actually gave them a pathway to it. We were made in the image of a great God and this desire I believe is inbedded in us. I can’t repent of this desire (yes I desire greatness) I can only seek to access it according to the way Jesus prescribes and repent of any other path beyond this.
