leaving Egypt
Some of us have chosen to stay as slaves in Egypt. Can you imagine living there as an Israelite in Egypt and seeing all the things God did to secure your freedom and when the time came for you to walk away free you said, no thanks. I think I will stay here. Be a slave the rest of my life. That is crazy!
God has gone to ever greater lengths than the rescue from Egypt to save you from slavery from sin by sending His Son to the cross. And some people look at the cross and see what their freedom cost and still say, no thanks, I think I will stay a slave to sin. And close the open bars on our cage. Take your inheritance. You have been delivered.
