It is good to be near to God
That verse jumped off the screen at me. My mind drifts back to the writer's agrarian culture and wonders if his life was as simple as I make it out to be. Would it be easier to say, "it is good to be near to the Lord," if I had less driving my life and less distractions when I hop off the treadmill? Perhaps I should crave nearness even more considering all the other options I have that continue to fall flat .
