What's the Frequency, Joseph?
I often wonder if any time elapsed between v. 24 & v. 25 here. Did God give Joseph the interpretation to the dreams in "real time", as Pharaoh spoke? Or did Joseph pause and pray for a few (many?) minutes, waiting for an answer/interpretation from God? I long to reach the point where my ears, my eyes, my heart and my spirit are so sensitive to God's voice that I truly hear Him speaking all the time. I don't want to be like an old analog radio with a weak antenna, where it takes several minutes to get the knob adjusted just right so that you can sort of, kind of hear the music being played through all the static. I want to be a digital/satellite radio -- perfectly tuned to the frequency of the God's-voice channel, always able to hear Him speaking, regardless of my own personal "atmospheric" conditions...
