Not good enough for God?

The apostle Paul refers to himself in this verse as "less than the least of all the saints." At first glance a pretty strange thing to hear from the man who wrote half of the New Testament. However, considering his early conduct in regard to the church - zealously seeking out and arresting and killing followers of the Way - you can imagine why he may have felt this way. To me, this says that anyone regardless of status, history, or current circumstances is a totally new creation when he comes to the cross. So many of us want to tell ourselves that we aren't good enough for God, or God could never want to use someone like me. But think about it this way - have you ever killed someone? Did I spend years of my life seeking out God's people and murdering them? No? Well, that's what Paul had done. And God radically transformed his life. God took who he was (A radically zealous man, with a passion for God), and he molded him into what he wanted him to be for His kingdom. What can God do with your life? He wants to take WHO YOU are, and mold you until he can use your own unique person to glorify his name and his kingdom.
