Don't "Promise to God"

Don't promise God anything, especially if you don't no for sure that you can fulfill your promise. Because, if you don't, then you would have lied to God. All he wants is a simple YESor NO, nothing more. No, "Lord, I'll promise I'll read the word today" or "I promise I'll go to church on Sunday" You either do it or you don't. Because, if you promise him and you don't fulfill your promise, then how can he trust that you'll be honest with him?
