just stepping out

I laughed out loud when I read this verse. Either they had some pretty big steppin stones or shorter dresses than I've seen in the movies. And God gives this detai just after He delivers His commandments. You'd think that the people would have behaved themselves going up to an alter, I guess God knows us better.
