For those in marriages or those who have relationships: the bottom line is be of one mind.
-The Message says: Be agreeable, sympathetic, be loving, be compassionate, be humble.
What would happen if we acted in this manner?
-I wonder if the people that Peter was speaking felt justified not to live out this way of thinking. Peter says to them " no exceptions"
-Are you the type of person that retaliates and when you do it is like what the Message says " Sharp-tongued sarcasm?
-From experience i know it feels good to get revenge. It feels good to be right. I struggle with control sometimes. Sometimes I must be very careful that I am not trying to be right, or try in my argument not to hurt people.
We want justification, but here it says that we must be very careful about how we speak to others.
-Are you a sarcastic person?
-Big thing here is that our JOB is to bless others. This is our 9-5 top to-do.
