S: Genesis 35:9-10
O: Jacob was by no means a Holy man. He was really messed up. Jacob's situation and state didn't effect God's ability to use him or complete His will.
A: I need to pursue holiness, just as Jacob did. Still, even in my pursuit, I will not obtain holiness because only God is Holy. My righteousness comes from Christ who redeems me.
P: Jesus, thank you for covering me, even in my immaturity and self-righteousness. Purify me, call me to yourself and bless me. Give me a new name God. I trust You with my life, not myself. I love you Lord.
