Many times we are quick to think of our own desires like Peter. Peter didn't want any harm to come to Jesus. He wanted Jesus to remain with the disciples. Although this was not a bad thing in itself, it was not God's will. Peter was not thinking of God's will first, sound familiar? Many times we think of our own desires instead of God's will.
