Emma's evidence
So our junior and senior high students are discussing the empty tomb. Our soft-spoken Emma, a new sixth-grader waited until the end before saying,
"If anyone was trying to steal the body they wouldn't have taken the time to fold up any cloth and lay it in place. They would have used whatever He was wrapped in to grab hold fast and get out fast so they wouldn't get caught."
We sat there in silence for a moment as it hit us.
Even the "swoon theory" is defeated by that one detail. Somebody alert Lee Strobel; new christian investigator on the loose!
