Turn . .
If we would but turn, God's promise is that he would subdue our enemies. For all the things that try to overtake our lives and the things we give ourselves to willingly, sin in it's various forms (idolatry, lust, lying, stealing, coveting, greed and the like). God promises our rescue from these things and ourselves.
Praise God for his unending kindness and his long suffering love. Who are we that GOd would extend this hand of grace to us again and again. We turn on God in an instant, if the situation suits my current desire. I'm sure that if we really knew the depths of the love of God we would think again and again about choosing to follow any other desire than that of knowing this, our God.
If we truly knew that God "had our back" I'm certain that we would commit ourselves to Him fully. Not for just the fact that he rescues us from impending danger, but the fact that it comes from a love we only know in part here on this earth.
