Moving Forward

It is simply amazing to me how the gospel is motivated to move forward when there is a trial or a situation that tries to stop its course. I recently heard a story about a group of missionaries that went to a third world county to to do medical missions. Some how while they were there they were found out by a group of radicals and we taken prisoners. While in prison they held a meeting and one of the missionaries spoke up and said if anyone dies it will be me, then another one spoke up and said no, if anyone is going to die it will be me. After they argued who will die for Jesus they were spilt up and two of them were executed. When the others were released they returned to their home. The wife of one of the missionaries that was executed was interviewed and was showered with condolences and on the interview she disclosed that she was not upset because she knew that she would see her husband again and that this is the way her husband would want to die by standing up for his king and not backing down in the face of adversity. It came that hundreds of people were led to the Lord through this event and that Jesus received all glory out of an attempt of something to stop the gospel. Thats what I am talking about... "let us not be discouraged when we are faced with trials but let us shine our light before men so that they may give glory to the Father above".
