Forgiveness is Life

The verses of John 6:1-15 (Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand) describes that “Forgiveness is Life” is the PRIMARY theme we live by as Disciples of Christ. By providing the masses with bread and fish, Jesus gave us our daily bread and forgave us our sins. In return he expects us to forgive those who trespass against us. As Disciples of Christ we are performing the WILL of the Lord through our actions on Earth.

The Lord wants us to live a productive life with purpose and action that is based on hope and not fear. For if we act in fear we become afraid, isolated, selfish and non-productive as human beings. He wants us to take action by providing stewardship through service, compassion, and kindness. He asks us not to condemn, criticize, or complain but to live with mercy, frugality, and humility, as did Jesus. The Lord asks us to surrender our security, affection, and control to him so that he has the opportunity to reveal the kingdom, the power, and the glory, now and forever.
