interesting note. today, in one my classes, our students had a religious dispute of sorts. i brought up moses (we were talking about harriet tubman and her being called moses), and we were thrust into a discussion about Jesus. the demographic of this area includes many muslims, so for the first time in my life i was dealing with a good chunk of people who were saying that Jesus is merely a prophet and not the Christ. it's a very different atmosphere than i'm used to.
