Ewww. Pride is gross. Know-it-alls are the worst people to be around. It's just obnoxious. And when we act like we've attained some sort of point with God that we've got everything figured out, we're being know-it-alls. We don't ever get to a place where we know all there is to know and can't be touched. We need You. We need Your grace. Getting prideful when we get on a roll is nasty. It's stupid. It's a bunch of other really negative adjectives. God, I do not ever want to be "wise in my own eyes" when I have so much to learn. There's no tenure here. I'll never be able to do this without You. Truth is, it's not about having any sort of status for being more spirtitual in someone else's eyes. I GET to know Jesus. I GET to!
