It is interesting that right after asking believers to open the door of their lives to a deeper relationship with Jesus, Jesus opens a door for John to see into the eternal worship of God. No past, no present, no future. Simply a picture of non-stop worship. 24/7 worship. 24 hours/thrones. 7 torches/days. Not a traditional interpretation, but funny.
