What does it mean to 'follow'? Not only to physically follow but to learn and become apprentices of the master. Because I f the trust of these men, Jesus promises them that they will see even heater things.
The disciples tell rothers.
They've encountered the messiah, some of their names even change, and now the run to tell others. The messiah has arrived.

"what are you seeking?
Jesus doesn't leave them alone with these questions. He spends the day with them. To 'abide' with them. This is more than just hanging out. Just as Jesus tests and fulfills the father's will, we can take residency within Christ.
We are all seeking something. Meaning, truth, rest, hope. Jesus invites us in to come and see and abide in Christ.
Who are we following
To follow someone is to trust in them. Your soul becomes united with them. This can be so dangerous if we are following the wrong thing. Do we follow Jesus?
This is not an easy discussion. It's life changing. Life sacrificing.
Are we like the disciples? They had 11 names for Christ, but did not understand who he was until after the resurrection.
Are we desperate to share this amazing news with others?
John 20:30-31 enough was told so that we would believe!!
