That's enough!
Pretty cool that when the people were given a choice- not a rule- to give to God, they were extremely generous. To the point that there was too much and they had to be told to stop. Hmm, pretty different than the MO used by many preachers to manipulate people into giving. The American church is so screwed up to even link giving and getting together- "give and you'll get blessed." Well, then that's not a gift. It can't be a gift when there is an obvious expectation to receive somethign in return. God, deliver us from materialism and religion. We want to be a generous people that give freely...to the point that we have to be told "That's enough!" :o)
