On mission in times of trouble

"Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel."

Bible verse background:
Paul found himself in jail and he was waiting for a trial. He was waiting for the ruling whether he will live or die. He wouldn't stop preaching, got thrown into jail. 24/7 chained to a guard. Paul came to the realization that god used him going to jail to talk to the guards and preach the gospel.

Who really was in chains? Paul or the captive guards?

"And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear."

Everyone is simply looking for authenticity.
Three things that are really important:
1) faith
2) family
3) friends
Fluff left the room a long time ago. It usually takes troublesome times to realize those three things that matter.

Paul came to that understanding that this is what he was called to be because he was on mission on 24/7.

In order to have this perspective you have to change your outlook on life. If your spot
Light is focused in yourself then you'll be distracted.

To live for Christ you have to die to self daily. After you do that then you'll be able to see the entire picture of living for mission.

Consider yourself lucky and find joy in trouble that god WILL work something out and you will learn a lesson in the mist of that struggle that you would never experienced otherwise.

It's not a time to focus on our strength but GOD'S STRENGTH.

Everyone says "I'm just not strong Enough". THATS OKAY. God should be your foundation. It's not about you!
