Why we should daily eat from the Word
I've often been asked, especially by my beloved unbeliever "Why do you need so many Bibles"
It's tough to explain to him, at times, that while Scripture hasn't changed, the way it is written has. Different translation, paraphrases, and all those "specific to a particular theme, need, audience..."
It DOES open up discussion of the history of our Bible, but then I let him know what's is truly at the heart of why I love Scripture...It is God Himself lighting the way I should live.
I'm reading in the "historical/chronological" order this year. Have you chosen a plan?
