A soldier's psalm

This is a great psalm for soldiers and as a chaplain is one I'd include as a sermon. The word "hero" gets thrown around alot today, but David calls the people of God heroes. He doesn't fear death and is confident of his eternal destiny! This is why I need not fear when out on patrol, or faced with IEDs or jumping out of airplanes. My God has my life in His hands and there is no safer place in the world to be.
