Leviticus 14:53

Not sure what all is meant by killing one bird and releasing the other, but I wonder if it has to do with the fact that we can never be really free as long as sin is not dealt with in our lives. We will never truly have life or live a life that matters much while we are bound up in the old life and the old man of sin as Paul referred to our carnal nature in Romans.
