the second half of the verse is the punch line of this. God will always be there unlike any human. when we, imperfect beings, fail, God is always there to comfort us, help us onto our feet, help us start walking again, guide us, and just love on us. we will never be alone.
My parents dont forsake me. but they arent perfect. so when they fail, God's there to be my Father. he is my Father even if they dont fail.
no matter what, our God will receive us.
