capital punishment or pro-peace?

This verse is commonly quoted to argue for the death penalty... But I never hear it used to argue that war is wrong as well. We love to jump on the judgement side of things but forget that God says - don't murder because EVERYONE is created in My image.

How we treat the creation says a lot about how we feel about the Creator.
