Progress towards perfection

I believe that our earthly life as a Christian is to be actively pursuing perfection in our daily living. We progress towards the perfection in our lives every day by drawing ourselves closer to God, conforming to His will and being obedient to His leading by His Spirit. Our ultimate perfection will not be fully realized until we join God in heaven.
