One of the most amazing things to me about the temptation of Jesus by Satan is that both are using the Word of God. Jesus is left alone when He tells Satan that the Scriptures say not to test God. Until then, Satan continued to find new means to tempt Jesus.

This made me wonder how well I would do in combating Satan if tempted by him with God's own words.

Do we know the Scriptures well enough to make Satan take a hike? Satan knows them well enough to make strong arguments. We need to be armed and ready with the truths God has given us.
