if we walk in the light the truth walks with us. Like a hotel curtain it blocks out the daylight. When we walk in darkness we stumble and fall. The light or in this text gods truth reveals our path to righteousness.. When we live in truth God is with us and when we lie and deceive we hide in the darkness.. do you want to stumble in the darkness or live in God's light and truth.. for he will brighten the path before us.
The accountability of family and close friends can help us expose the darkness in our lives and to keep us from hiding in the darkness.. God can be our nightlight
