#FOLLOWER 1/8/12

-are you following Jesus or using him?

-to be a "follower" means to agree with teachings and wanting to be like someone

-jesus says if you cannot take what you love and get rid of it for him, then you're not a follower

-if Jesus had a facebook page; how many likes would he get for that post?

-following Jesus is more than just making minor adjustments & and inviting him into your life

-following Jesus will cost your life

-Jesus is looking for people who will say yes before they even know what he's asking

-some people are scared to follow him because they are afraid he'll ask you to do something you don't want to do, that's not following thats using.

-You cannot live on yesterday's yes; you can build on it but not live on it

-say yes ALL the time.

-Jesus is not calling you to punish you.

-Jesus says if you wanna win, you gotta die.

-you have people following you on twitter & Facebook that you don't even know. That's exactly what's going to happen when you die and God turns you away because he doesn't know you

-it's not a question of believing its FOLLOWING

-98% of Americans "believe" in God; but that doesn't mean they follow him. Even the demons in hell believe in Jesus
