We need accountability. We need the eyes of another looking into our lives. We need guidance and leadership if we expect to experience real growth. I don't know it all (gasp!) and I only see in part. I need another's perspective- someone who can identify things in me that are awry when maybe I'm holding onto old ways and not wanting to change. We are not meant to walk this thing alone. The rest of the body offers us accountability, resistance training, and insight that we could never get all alone in our prayer closet 24/7. This makes us teachable and thus, humble. Thats' all God asks of us- a humble heart willing to change.
