RE: What will disqualify me?
Keep reading. 1 Cor. 10:1-6 says what will disqualify you. Being overthrown in the wilderness (testing)/desiring evil/sin in general. This does deal with your salvation. Do not believe "Once saved, always saved." Salvation is not a one-time occurance, but a process which we must endure to the end of ourselves. However, you will sin in this process as it is the desire of our flesh, but renounce it, rebuke it, ask for forgiveness and believe in the blood of Jesus cleansing you of that sin. Then as you continue in repentance by the Spirit, sin will leave you.
Do not be comfortable in your sin/Christ's forgiveness. His forgiveness was bought with a high price, of which he doesn't give away to the evil who only proclaim and think they believe. It is for those who truely believe, seeking and following Christ all the days of their lives.
