fear and storms
I'm taking a leap this year and right now it's like being in the midst of a massive storm. It feels like there is more water pouring in then we can bucket out. The floor feels like it's moving throwing me off balance. The wind makes it cold and out on this big lake between here and there it's awful lonely.
But then, today, I read this verse. And I realize that Jesus is with me, and that he is in control. That he is with me, and I can have peace in the storm.
It's not a magical mind trick to know Jesus is here, and doesn't lessen the pain of fighting a storm. But it changes who is chasing who.
