Repentence is NOT equal to confession
When we repent, it's so much more than just confessing of our sin. It's the deepest sorrow in our soul. It's the wretched feeling that we have cheated our God. This feeling should lead us to repent completely.
Now, no human being is ever going to be perfect. You can't find someone who hasn't had a hard time struggling with a certain sin. That's why we pray. That's why we read.
The more in love with Him we are, the more horrifying sin becomes.
