Angels are not sons of God
Some people say that the sons of God, mentioned in Genesis 6:4 as having children by women, were fallen angels. That is clearly incorrect in the light of Hebrews 1:5 in which the question is asked, but not answered:"For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?" The answer is: to none of them, because they are not sons of God. In Hebrews 1:7, Brother Paul explains what the angels are: they are ministers or servants. The whole point of Hebrews 1 is to show how that Jesus, the firstborn Son of God, though not the only son of God, differs from the angels. So who are the sons of God mentioned in Genesis 6:4? Humans, descendants of Adam, who was a son of God (Luke 3:38). The "daughters of men" were the female descendants of Cain.
