If anyone knows Jesus does!
If there was anyone in Jerusalem that DID know all that things that had happened it was Jesus, yet Cleopas asks "are you the only visitor . . . who doesn't know . . .?" How very like us. So often if the middle of desperate circumstances we cry to God "Don't you see what is going on here? Don't you see the horrible suffering and trial of it all? Are you blind or indifferent?" Our heart cries out and wonders if He has any idea really or if He is even there. Yet He is the one who was (and is) the absolute epicenter of knowledge and hurt about the pain or the trial. Oh God, remind us of that I pray!
