Not with our fathers but with us

God's covenant always has to be a primary source, not a secondary association. You don't enter a promised land, slay giants, suffer for the faith, or perservere in obedience on the basis of what God did for your parents. Their influence can be huge and they have given us wonderful examples in many cases, but if our walk with God is not first hand it is not really real.

What has God done in your life today? What about my life? The dusty victories of the past can never suffice for every day life. We must have the blessing and annointing of God for our lives and our generation.
