Apple of His Eye!
Psalm 17:6-9 does a pretty good job at summing up a lot of my own personal prayers, asking God to keep us as the focus of His daily work in the world and to protect us from anything and everything evil and wrong. The relationship is a two way street, though, don't forget that! God will always keep you as the apple of His eye, but it's important for us to keep Him as the apple of OUR eye! We have to focus on making the Lord our main focus in everything we do in life; we must see Him in our ups, our downs, our smiles, and our tears. God is there when we're soaring on an angels wings - and God is there when we've fallen to our knees. Pray that God will keep you as the apple of His eye, and that you are given the strength to keep Him as yours!
